Andy Buckley

I am based at Glasgow University, Scotland, and leader of the CEDAR project, which bridges the gap between MC generator teams and the collider experiments. I'm also a member of the ATLAS experiment, and the TopFitter and GAMBIT BSM fitting collaborations.

I'm interested in MC physics such as heavy flavour production and modelling, soft-QCD modelling and tuning, truth-jet flavour labelling, and the use of MC generators and parameterisation in BSM model testing. I mainly work on the Rivet MC validation & testing toolkit, the Professor MC tuning system, and the LHAPDF and HepMC libraries.
